David Stern talks too much

I'm a big fan of commissioner David Stern for the most part. But his four-minute epilogue before he announced the Bulls would have five minutes to make the first pick of the draft was a bit much. I understand the need to plug the WNBA and NBA.com and all that good stuff, but that's what commercials are for, no?

After five minutes of second guessing ourselves, the Bulls did exactly what everybody thought they'd do, selecting Derrick Rose at the buzzer. The only person in Chicago not excited with that move has to be Kirk Hinrich, who will be pushed aside for Rose, perhaps right away. Rose is a playmaker and with the way point guards have been able to plug right in and succeed out of college (i.e. Deron Williams, Chris Paul), Hinrich's days as a significant Fantasy guard are numbered.

Now, the craziness really begins... What do the Heat have up their sleeves?
